So I’ve lost about 1-2lbs a week through week 2 and 3, which may not sound like much but I’m quite proud of it!
(and don’t worry that is a normal rate of weight loss after the initial shedding of water weight. Again everyone is different so some people lose more.. some less, don’t ever give up!)
Variety is something I’ve struggled with this week I look back at my food journal and I stick to the same vegetables: Lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, squash and zucchini. So I’ve started experimenting with things that I didn’t think I liked before I began this little adventure.
I was so surprised about how much my taste buds changed after I cut out sugars.
Here’s a perfect example, I use to hate the taste of bell peppers and tomatoes, now they both are so sweet and delicious to me, which I thought was insane!
So my biggest recommendation is to experiment, try foods you use to hate. Try new recipes and find new things! There are so many options!
Talking about options I was ready to spice things up, after my first two weeks I was allowed to add in a ½ a cup of berries and a handful of nuts once a day at the advice of Mrs. Liz Davis. I also started experiments with dessert recipes!
