H. Douglas Woodford, MD, FACOG
Dr. Woodford received his medical education and completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee-College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. He has been in private practice since 1985. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 1992, he completed a preceptorship in reproductive/infertility surgery. Dr. Woodford opened Florence Obstetrics and Gynecology Group in 1993 providing services for women having difficulty achieving pregnancy and all types of OB and gynecological services.
Dr. Woodford began focusing more on his interests in bio-identical hormone replacement for both women and men and using nutrition to promote optimal wellness in his patients. In 2012, he opened Full Life Wellness Center, which provides bio-identical hormone replacement for men and women, OB/GYN services, nutritional therapy and weight loss services with the goal of helping patients achieve their personal best level of health.
Danielle C. Elliott
Mrs. Elliott received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of North Alabama in 1987, a Master of Science in Nursing in 1991 from the University of Alabama-Birmingham and was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC from the University of Alabama-Huntsville in 1994.
She was also certified as a lactation consultant by the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants in 1997. Mrs. Elliott has been a practicing Nurse Practitioner in the field of OB/GYN since 1995 and joined this practice in 2004.
Liz Davis, RN, NTP
Liz completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Nursing in 2007 and worked in critical care and post-anesthesia units in large hospitals for 5 years. Her 2008 diagnosis of an auto-inflammatory disorder, neurosarcoidosis, lead her to search for a more natural, holistic way to support health and get to the root cause of disease, both for herself and for others. In June of 2014 she completed a holistic, functional nutrition certification and is a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner by the Nutritional Therapy Association. She now runs the Nutritional Therapy and Weight Loss programs at Full Life Wellness Center. She particularly enjoys working with individuals to create a holistic wellness plan that can improve quality of life. She and her husband, Collins, have one daughter and run Bluewater Creek Farm with the goal of producing nutrient dense food that will positively impact the health of their community.
