At Full Life Wellness Center, our Providers use a holistic approach to help you feel better. We have lots of experience and success with the individualized care required for proper management of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. We begin with a comprehensive review of your symptoms. Testing is done with blood analysis drawn at our office. Then you will meet with the provider to discuss the results, and, if appropriate, they will prescribe a dosage of bio-identical hormones. We mostly use subcutaneous hormone pellet implants as they provide the most reliable, consistent delivery. Other preparations or delivery methods may be used also depending on the individual's needs and preferences. Each patient is monitored carefully through regular follow up visits and blood testing to ensure symptom relief at the most appropriate dose.
What is the pellet insertion procedure like?
Pellet insertions are done in office under a local anesthetic. The bio-identical hormone pellet is slipped painlessly under the skin, typically in the hip. The procedure takes less than 5 minutes. Once the pellet is inserted it dissolves slowly, releasing a steady, low dose of natural hormone into the blood stream. Pellets last about 3-4 months and reinsertion requires a quick visit to the Full Life office.Schedule an appointment
Thyroid Management
Just like our sex hormones, our thyroid hormone balance has a huge impact on how we feel and function in every day life. Thyroid imbalance can negatively impact energy levels, mood, digestion, weight, and the hair, skin, and nails. Our thyroid consultation focuses on the whole person to encourage dietary and lifestyle changes in addition to medical management. We evaluate for autoimmunity and other root causes of thyroid dysfunction through blood work, physical, and lifestyle assessment. If needed, we can assess thyroid tissue fairness with specialized reflexometry ThyroFlex testing. Each individual is different, and for each, we work to optimize thyroid levels for the best symptom control. When appropriate, we use natural thyroid hormone replacement.

Susan Strickland, licensed aesthetician, provides aesthetic treatments such as Lamprobing, microdermabrasion, enzyme treatments, facials, extractions, event makeup, and scar tissue manipulation of the breasts.
